Get Out and Back Home Sooner
Unlike many other companies who keep OTR drivers moving across the country, our “out and back” business model provides for 500 to 600-mile outbound trips, with most returning to our terminal in Wilmington where local drivers complete final delivery of the load This reduces delays and keeps our drivers moving during the week. It also allows many drivers to be back home 1 or 2 times a week.
Sewell prides itself on listening to its drivers, and because that, offers a flexible mileage program designed to allow you to choose if you want to run above or below 3,000 miles. The program’s focus is on providing you with a consistent income, based on the way you want to drive and earn a living. We pride ourselves that this and other innovations help to out-perform other companies in terms of retention, many of whom are much larger. We believe that is the case because at Sewell, we’re big enough to be consistent and grow but small enough to care.
